( whelp. but she doesn't leave that in the air and elaborates more. but when jinx does, there is some hesitation in her tone. it's... not an everyday thing she just rambles on about her voices. it's a sensitive topic and she doesn't want vi to leave her, think of her differently, or worse... love her less because of them. )
I don't... always know whose talking sometimes. ( that's probably a bad start. so she thinks of another way to explain this better. )
Remember on the weekends how it gets pretty busy in The Last Drop? And you're surrounded by so many people talking at once but you can't make out what anyone is saying 'cause everyone is going on and on, so it's just this... soft mumbling of noise? It's... like that for me. I-In my head.
( thank goodness she can't see her sister and her eyes are up on the ceiling. jinx can feel her skin steadily crawling from exposing her vulnerable side. )
I've, uh, gotten use to it. I just picture myself always being in a crowded place while they go on. Sometimes they pass by and they're within earshot. Sometimes it's just a voice and sometimes it's... people I know. Like.
( ... )
Mylo. O-Or uh... Vander. I use to hear you too. But not anymore since, uh, eh heh, you're right here now.
( she tries to throw some humor into this topic. )
( awkwardly, she hums out a tiny chuckle. vi isn't the only one who is a little at lost on what to say. )
Heeeey, it's not all bad. ( still keeping her gaze up at the ceiling, she waves a hand nonchalantly. )
Sometimes they kinda help. When they're not being a pain. I don't always pay attention to stuff that's goin' around me or I'm thinking in speed. So if someone is sneaking up on me, they let me know.
( which might explain her insane reflexes sometimes. )
[she's not entirely sure that that helps her conscience, here. but she's not going to bring it up, because Jinx seems entirely fine with it being a Normal Thing.
even though it's... not normal.]
Right. Well... at least there's that?
[she's not too good at sounding like she's not bothered by it, though.]
( finally, her little sister rolls over to look at vi through the camera with a smile. she can tell the topic is a little unease for her and it's understandable. so naturally, jinx brings out a tease to lighten things up in hope it'll make her sibling feel a bit better. )
You're gonna get grey hairs fretting over me like that. And we'll have to start color dying your hair. Lucky for you, I'm a key expert in coloring!!

But, uh, just now that — that was Mylo.

... I'm sorry. That you have to go through all of this.
[there's not a whole lot more she knows how to say... honestly.]
