[It's going to drive Caitlyn crazy to not have answers. If there's one thing she hates more than anything, it's not knowing. Until she knows exactly what happened on their mission, and how exactly she ended up dead, it's going to drive her nuts. But one thing is for sure, and it's that Vi is very good at distracting her, intentionally or not.
At least, from the bad thinking. She still notices the state of their place. Vi had never been the tidiest of people, but it's clear she's expressed her frustration and anger on her environment. Things can be replaced. The wall can be fixed. It might not be the healthiest of coping mechanisms, but she can hardly blame Vi for being upset. If Vi had left for a mission and not come home, she would be upset too. It's been one of Caitlyn's biggest fears, for something to happen and separate them-- even if it was just going back home.
But the majority of Caitlyn's frets and concerns take a backseat at Vi's very obvious suggestion. She fights a smirk, but Vi still gets a hint of an eye roll. She's not mad at the suggestion, and sees right through Vi's demeanor. She likes to play big and tough, but Caitlyn can tell how badly Vi missed her. She doesn't have to say it out loud. Caitlyn knows, especially considering what a mess Vi looks like. Has Vi even showered, in the time she's been gone?]
I would love your help. [She leans forward, pressing a gentle kiss to Vi's lips. Her next sentence is barely more than a whisper right to Vi's ear, intentionally to be a tease.] You do always have a way with getting the spots I can't reach.
